Did you know that in the month of December and even in the whole year of 2011 the amount of manufacturing and manufacturing jobs in the United States actually increased? Not so bad considering people are still pretty skeptical about the economic slump. We have increased in the manufacturing of transportation equipment, strong machinery and in chemicals. Of course we being a hazardous waste material focused blog, we are rather concerned about that last one.
Lucky for the good old United States of America our consistency of chemical waste disposal regulation means we can increase our bottom line in the area of chemical manufacturing without risking our ecological safety. In fact as the manufacturing goes up so does the disposal meaning over the next few months, should trends continue, we are likely to see more and more progress and more and more jobs in both manufacturing and waste management. This is great for the economy, the workers and everyone in between.
We do not generally think of the positives of chemical manufacturing but beyond the economy these chemicals can do amazing things. While many of the byproducts can get quite dangerous the general effectiveness of our hazardous waste management makes growth in the industry a net positive still.
